Get Your Liquor Consumption Permit ( स्वतः करिता मद्य सेवन परवाना) :-
In Maharashtra State, it is very important that if you want to possess or consume liquor in public or any other place you should have Permit issued by the State Excise Department. You must be above 25 years old (for Wardha District residents age must be above 30 years) to obtain the liquor consumption permit.
Warning :- If you are caught possessing or consuming alcohol without a permit, you could be prosecuted under the Maharashtra Prohibition Act, 1949. The punishment for a first offense is up to 6 months in jail and a fine of up to ₹10,000.
